The
development of the Flextern has been based upon a vast amount of research.
Questions posed were: what does a user of a lectern demand of a lectern and for
which purposes is it used? Furthermore, research has been done on design. This
resulted in three types of design: classic, contemporary and basic. These three
types provide a wide variety of choice for any situation in which a
